Key Responsibilities
Injury Triage & Clinical Direction: Serve as the first point of contact for workplace injuries. Provide telephonic and onsite triage, determine appropriate level of care, assess fitness for duty, and guide next steps based on clinical judgment.
Comprehensive Case Management: Own and manage workers’ compensation cases from initial injury through closure. Coordinate care plans, monitor treatment progress, facilitate communication among all parties, and proactively address barriers to recovery and return to work.
Return-to-Work Coordination: Collaborate with employers and providers to develop and modify transitional duty plans. Ensure alignment with medical restrictions while supporting timely, safe reintegration into the workplace.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the clinical liaison between injured employees, treating providers, insurance adjusters, and employer representatives. Provide clear, consistent updates and ensure all parties are aligned on case direction and expectations.
Occupational Health Program Oversight: Administer and manage OSHA-mandated surveillance programs including audiometry, respiratory fit testing, and exposure monitoring—tailored to each client’s specific risks.
Workplace Risk Assessment: Conduct on-site evaluations to identify ergonomic risks and injury trends. Partner with leadership to implement preventative strategies and reduce future claims.
Regulatory & Documentation Expertise: Support compliance with OSHA, FMLA, and ADAAA requirements. Maintain accurate documentation, assist with OSHA 300 logs, and ensure defensible, timely case records.
Required:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
3–5+ years of clinical nursing experience (ER, ICU, Case Management or Occupational Health preferred)
Preferred:
CCM (Certified Case Manager) certification or COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse)
Strong case management mindset with a focus on outcomes and efficiency
Ability to communicate effectively with both frontline workers and executive leadership
